A wide range of classes and workshops are on offer throughout Buffalo and Western New York this month and beyond, covering topics from wine appreciation and woodworking to improv, yoga, and personal finance.

Running Sunday, September 27 through Sunday, October 25 (9:00 am–6:00 pm), Badding Farm Market and Garden Center in East Amherst is hosting its annual autumn celebration, which includes a Scarecrow Village and a series of fall workshops.
Also during that same window, Buffalo's only Balinese gamelan program is offering a free six-week Introduction to Balinese Gamelan course, held Sundays from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Participants can explore making music with a community of fellow learners at no cost.
A Family Pre-Show Workshop is available ahead of performances of The Wind in the Willows and A Year with Frog and Toad, offering interactive activities before each show. Separately, the Buffalo Improv House at 255 Great Arrow Avenue is running an eight-week Intro to Improv Games course on Sundays starting September 27, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, covering the basics of a variety of improv game styles.
House of Hips at 1863 Clinton Street in Buffalo is hosting two ongoing series: a six-week Beginner Burlesque course titled Back to School and Back to You with instructor Miss J Kiss, and a Creative Hoop Dance class with Benjamin Berry on Mondays starting September 28, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, open to all skill levels.
The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens at 2655 South Park Avenue is offering a beyond-the-basics watercolor workshop focused on painting dragonflies, described as a relaxing session for those looking to advance their watercolor technique.
An Intro to Acrylic painting course taught by instructor Sophia Beck is also available, aimed at beginners and covering the fundamentals of acrylic painting through the structured study of a complex texture.
Soma Cura Wellness Center at 2154 Grand Island Boulevard is hosting a Sound Bath with Vera Chapman. The session is described as a relaxation and meditative experience in which participants are immersed in sound waves as a form of sound therapy.
The Light House: Family Centered Yoga and Doula Services at 3796 Broadway in Cheektowaga is offering Prenatal Yoga Classes on Tuesdays starting September 29, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, designed for expecting mothers at every stage of pregnancy.
The Lewiston Council on the Arts is running Italian Cultural Programming with various levels of Italian language classes on Mondays starting September 28, from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm, at the Red Brick Schoolhouse at 261–359 Onondaga Street in Lewiston. Classes are led by instructors Dr. Linda Silvestri and Manola DeMunda.
A hands-on cooking class called Soup for the Soul, led by instructor Ciara Morreale Lucas, focuses on healthy and quick seasonal soups. Additionally, a personal finance course titled The Establishment: Personal Finance Fundamentals is available, covering topics from budgeting to saving.
