About Cozy Raindrop

Cozy Raindrop started in the spring of 2021, during a period when a lot of people were spending more time at home than they had planned. The idea was simple: a place to read about living more gently, without the guilt-trip tone that so much environmental writing carries. We were tired of articles that made you feel bad for existing. We wanted to write about the pleasure of a slow morning, the satisfaction of a well-made object, the specific beauty of a particular hillside in a particular season. And to connect those things honestly to the wider question of how we share the planet.

All prose on Cozy Raindrop is written by our editorial team. When a story draws on reporting, data, or original research published elsewhere, we credit that source clearly in the text and link to the original publication on its own site. The underlying reporting belongs to the outlet that did it; our write-up is our own interpretation and presentation of what they found.

Stories are selected because they fit one of our six rubrics and because they are grounded in something specific. A place, a person, a process, a season. We do not publish stories that are primarily promotional, and we do not accept payment to cover any topic. The editorial calendar is set internally, usually two to three weeks ahead of publication.

If you believe a story contains a factual error, please email hello@cozyraindrop.com with the story title and the specific detail in question. We will investigate and, if the error is confirmed, publish a correction at the top of the article within two business days. If you are named or described in a story and would like the reference updated or removed, the same email address reaches us and the same two-business-day response applies.

Stories are chosen because they bear directly on relaxed living or the natural environment, match one of the site's six rubrics, and come from a named publication whose reporting editors can verify.
